Recurring Events

Follow

It would be great if teachers had the option to add repeated events to a course calendar. For example, if a teacher has an event every week consistently throughout the year, it would be nice for them to only enter it once and have it repeat through the calendar.

Agreed! We have a drop-in Math Cafe that I'd love to have show up as a recurring event under groups.

Agreed. Our building secretaries will be starting to add building events to all of the faculty and building calendars. To have to re-create the events (without even the ability to copy it to another day) is making a lot of extra work that they don't currently have to do with Google Calendars or Outlook.

This would be a very helpful feature! Schoology folks, is it possible/in the works? ;)

Would make life so much easier for those that are using this with their staff. Hopefully we can convince Schoology of the need.

This is an ESSENTIAL part of any efficient calendar app. How can we put courses on or team practices or club meetings without having to put one on individually. Who has the time for that?

The ability to add recurring assignments is needed. Please consider adding this to the calendar feature of assignments.

Please! I had a plan to add all my small group meeting times to the calendar. However, doing it manually each week would be too cumbersome.

This is a no-brainer to add. Schoology needs to be more responsive to simple additions like this. Users don't care about the complications it may present for the company, we care about a functional, ease-to-use program that saves us time.

Pretty please make this a priority. I need this feature badly. Thank you.

Still hoping to hear that you've added this essential component to an already awesome program. Do you need a minimum number of votes/requests to move this to a priority?

This is a must for any scheduling program. Please help us out by moving this to urgent. It has been in the que for over a year with no comments from schoology.

Agreed! In addition, there should be the power to import recurring events from Google Calendar, if anything!

Agreed. The Schoology calendar is useless without this feature. Importing Google calendars to Schoology is also currently useless, as Schoology fails to import recurring events.
