Ability to see a class average

I would like to see a way to calculate class averages without having to export to an excel file.

  I know that we can see the 'stats' for individual assignments in the gradebook, but I would like to have "stats" for  the overall marking period grades as well as for the final grade for the whole class throughout the semester.  I think that would be very helpful for a teacher to be able to see the curb distribution of the overall students' grade, with the average, median and all the stats available.

  There is a category on the grade book that says "current average". Even though I've been entering grades, for every student it says N/A. Is there no way to actually see what a students average is looking like? I am so confused!

  I would very much like to be able to see the overall grade for the students in the gradebook. Right now I can't figure out how my students are doing.

  Yes, even a year later, this is still a really critical need, especially when having conferences with first-year teachers.

  We should be able to see more than just an average. There should be an advanced feature to track student performance. It's odd to have a site analytics feature, but not a performance analysis feature.

  We'd love to see the stats data for all of the assignments and overall grades. It will help our teachers to see how everyone is doing. Please make this feature available.

  Yes, and stats for grading categories would be helpful as well.

  Come on, this is essential!  All my students want to know the class average.  It would be nice if someone from Schoology could explain why this is not a feature of the system.  I guess I have to export and do an average from Excel :(  Defies the purpose of using Schoology for grading if I have to go back to Excel.

  Yes please. Finding SO MANY things that other programs (School Loop) could and did do, that Schoology does not do!

  Sooooo, why no explanation yet for not showing grade distributions for overall grade????
