How to activate an course that was archived?

Follow

One of my courses was automatically archived because it was set for first quarter. I'm not sure what this means or how I did it, but I want my course that is archived back to an active class. Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi Jody,

To extend the life of a course, you may add grading periods to the course. This Help Center article might have the steps you're looking for to add grading periods to the course: https://support.schoology.com/entries/23535441-How-do-I-add-grading-periods-to-my-course-.

    Sincerely,

What do you do if the option to add a grading period does not exist.  I didn't archive this course, I logged in today and it was archived.  I need this course back.

    Hi Susie,

You may need to add the grading period from Grade Setup within your archived course rather than from Edit Info

After you have accessed the course, you can find Grade Setup from the left menu and Edit Grading Periods & Final Weights.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
