Student Audio Not Working in Assessments


My students are trying to record audio for an assessment, but the recording tool keeps stopping them around 35 seconds (some at 50, some at 15, etc.) even though I have it set to the maximum time limit of 10 minutes. Any ideas for how to fix this?

    Are you students using the Schoology iOS/Android app or a regular desktop device?

    If students are using different devices is this happening across all browsers and devices for all students or a few students?  Please let me know and I can take a closer look into this issue for you.

    The same thing is happening at our school, as well. All students are on Dell laptops. For many students, it works fine, but for a few it stops them after 15 or 20 seconds.
