Google Resources Not allowing you to embed in Schoology


I found another thread on this topic and it was marked resolved and yet others commented they are still experiencing this problem.  It is not resolved and there are no work arounds.

    I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. 

    There was an issue where the Google Drive Resource app " Import Embed" showed a looped iframe view of a user's account when the Chrome Setting "SameSiteby Default Cookies" is enabled. However, our engineering team has made improvements that resolved this error.  We recommend clearing your browser's cache, log back into your Schoology account, and perform your Import Embed workflow.  The issue should have cleared up and you should be able to embed your content. 

    Also, I just performed this workflow on my test account by going to Add Materials> Insert Content> Google Drive Resource> Selected the desired assignment> Import/ Embed.  I was able to embed my material successfully. 

    In this case, are you following the same workflow as mentioned above? If not, can you provide me with more information on what's happening on your end so I can take a closer look into this issue for you.

    Hi Nina,

    We experience the issue above specifically when trying to compose a message in Schoology and include content via the Google Drive Resource App with any of the three import options. We experience this issues across various browsers / machines.

    After selecting the resource to import, we return to the screen below indicating an action is being performed, however items never complete attaching. We have had a support case open on this since December 10th and still don't have a resolution, which has definitely been a bit disappointing.
