Access Denied (One Drive)


I have a few teachers coming to me regarding an access denied error message when opening a student's assignment(s).  I've tried the fixes I've seen for the same issue with Google Drive but haven't had any luck.  Is there anything else I should try in order to solve this problem?

    Hi Lindsey,

    Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

    Are any of the teachers co-teachers who are trying to access the assignments? If so, all student copies are only shared with the teacher who created the assignment and the student who opens it.

    All other visitors to the course, whether co-teachers, admins, advisors, will not be able to see the submission.  As a workaround, the course admin who created the assignment can share to any co-teachers and other faculty directly from the OneDrive.  All student copies are organized into OneDrive folders by course and assignment.  This way, the primary teacher may push out all assignments to students in Schoology and share submissions directly from OneDrive via the folder with all student work to the co-teacher.  The co-teacher can then view the assignments through Schoology or directly in OneDrive. 

    If there are no co-teachers, can you have the affected teachers follow the force logout process as documented in this Help Guide?

    Please let me know if this issue continues to persist after performing the troubleshooting steps above. I will be happy to take a closer look.

    The first teacher that brought it to my attention replied to my e-mail with the Help Guide link saying they were not currently having the issue for the time being.  Maybe it's some kind of hiccup?  I'm not sure.  I'm waiting from the second teacher to let me know if she is still getting the access denied error.
