Moving Bulk Files to Folders Efficiently

Follow

I am trying to move files to organize them under folders, but I have to do them one by one. I have work for quarter 1 -3 for this year, plus last years’ work. Now that I know I can organized files under the actual course and not just Resources, I am very frustrated that I have to take 3 steps for each file to get each files moved to the appropriate folder. My brain wants to click on an option that shows me all files that I can then add a checkbox to all files I want to me, but I am unsuccessful. I truly do not have that kind of time. Help, Please!

Recommendation:

Perhaps a bulk move/ bulk edit or bulk delete under courses and resources and folder options, etc. can be set up like Bulk Edit under the grade book in Schoology!

    Hi Lonni,

Thank you for reaching out in the Schoology Community!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

Once you've created multiple folders, you can drag and drop them to change the order in which they appear.

Can you please explain the steps you are taking to move the folders?

Also, it may be helpful to check the system requirements for optimal performance while using Schoology.

    Best,

I am new to Schoology - I am in a group class.  I need to move folders but they are frozen and will not move.  The folders in my Sandbox move but not the Group class - any ideas?
