Quiz: ordering questions - new marking option

Follow

In quizzes, ordering questions currently mark based on the longest correct sequence.   It would be handy to have an option based on position in the order explicitly.  For example, in a 7-mark ordering question, if the student gets the last 2 items out of order, they will receive a mark of 5/7.   However, if they get items 4/5 out of order, they will only get 3/7 - yet they both only made one error.  A system that marks based on how many are in the correct position would give both of them 5/7.  I know you can over-ride their mark - but it would be handy not to have to.

yes, I am constantly raising ordering grades because I don't like the partial credit.

Please fix this Schoology, it is very frustrating to have to go back in and raise grades every time.

This is exactly what I would want!  Grade the order based on placement instead of chain of correct answers.

I have tried an ordering question giving partial credit and Schoology simply keeps counting correct answers with the necessary sequencing wrong. It simply does not work with anything except full credit for every answer in the right order.
