The camera is not launching in the Schoology Android mobile app and an error message is displayed. How do I fix this?

Answer 

This issue is a result of a recent update from Android (v11). The most recent version prevents users from selecting their preferred camera app when launching a camera-related action and forces the pre-installed camera app on the device, with no option to switch. As a result, any user that has disabled the native camera app on their device is blocked from launching it in the Schoology mobile app. The pre-installed camera app should be re-enabled in order to use the camera function in Schoology. 

Note: Devices on previous versions of Android (v6 - 10) are not affected by this update and users can continue to select their preferred camera app.
