Question
The header is obscuring my view in Schoology. How do I fix this?
Answer
If the header at the top of Schoology is overlapping the page or part of the header is cut off, this could be affected by the following browser settings:

If your browser is zoomed in more than 100%, some of the menu options in the header may be relocated to the More drop-down menu:
Ensure your browser is set to 100% for the best viewing experience in Schoology.
To check the zoom setting in Chrome:
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner in Chrome.
- The zoom percentage is displayed under Zoom:
2 — Font size setting
The recommended and default font size setting in Chrome is Medium. Any size above this may affect how the header appears. For example, this view has a Large font setting:
To check the font size setting in Chrome:
- Go to chrome://settings/ in Chrome.
- Click Appearance from the left menu.
- Under Font size, check the recommended font size Medium is selected:
3 — Custom font size setting
Your browser settings may also have a minimum font size setting. If it's set to a high number, this can cause the header to overlap. In this example, the minimum font size setting is set to 14:
To check the minimum font size setting in Chrome:
- Go to chrome://settings/ in Chrome.
- Click Appearance from the left menu.
- Click Customize fonts.
- Use the slider to set the Minimum font size to a lower number:
