Phasing Out Support for iOS 7


Schoology values your user experience and constantly strives to support the latest security standards. Therefore, we are discontinuing support for iOS 7 starting May 30th, 2016.

While this affects a small number of users, we strongly recommend that anyone running iOS 7 upgrade as soon as possible.

What is iOS 7?

iOS 7 is Apple's seventh generation software for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

How do I know if I am using iOS 7?

A very small percentage of customers are using iOS 7. To find out if your Apple device is running this operating system, first go to your iPad or iPhone's Home screen, and tap on the Settings icon. There, you'll need to click General, and then tap About. You'll now find lots of information about your device, including how many songs, videos, and photos it's storing, how many applications you've got, what the capacity is, and the amount of remaining space. Locate Version to see if you're using any iteration of iOS 7 (e.g. 7.0.1, 7.2).

How do I update my device?

Simply tap on the Settings icon, click on General, and then tap Software Update. From there you'll be able to download and install any available updates.

What if i continue to use iOS 7?

Some features or functionality developed for subsequent releases may no longer work. Bugs or performance issues that appear only when using iOS 7 will not be investigated or fixed by the Schoology team.
