Students may see an error message, "Expired Test/Quiz: This attempt has already been submitted." in the following situation:
- The student has opened a singular attempt of a test/quiz in multiple locations. These locations can include multiple browsers and multiple devices.
- In one of the open test/quiz locations, the student submits the test/quiz.
- In another test/quiz location, the student attempts to submit the same attempt of the test/quiz again.
When students try to submit the same attempt a second time, they'll encounter the error message above. Since the attempt has already been submitted, the student must start a new attempt if they would like to make another submission and the instructor has enabled multiple submissions.
