If students are reporting that upcoming assignments, tests/quizzes, discussions, or events are appearing at a different day or time than the one you'd set for the item, the student's account may be associated with a different timezone.
To check and adjust a student's timezone, the student must:
- Click on the downfacing arrow at the top right of their Schoology account.
- Click Account Settings.
- In the Timezone field, the student should make sure that the timezone matches their current location.
Once the student changes his or her timezone setting, the dates for upcoming items should display correctly. If you find that the issue not resolved, however, you can contact the Schoology Help Desk for additional assistance.
