What does this message mean?

This error message, "The email address you have entered is already registered," indicates that there exists in Schoology an account associated with your email address. This email address may have been used in an account at your school, or it may have been used when creating a Basic teacher account during sign up.

What should I do?

To use this same email address to create a new account, you may login to your account associated with this email, and delete your previous account. Alternatively, you use a different email address to create a new account, or you may log into your previous account and adjust the email address saved to the previous account.

I can't login to my previous account

If you experience difficulty logging into your previous account, you may reset your password by clicking on the Forget your password link, and login to the account associated with your email address. Please note that you must have an email address associated with your Schoology account in order to reset your password. If you have additional questions, you can submit a ticket to our Support Team.
