Depending on how your account was set up, you can use an email address or username to log in. See below for instructions:

Email Login

  1. Go to www.schoology.com.
  2. Click Log In on the top menu.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Click Log in.

Username Login

  1. Go to www.schoology.com.
  2. Click Log In on the top menu.
  3. Enter your username, password, and the name of your school (as you type, a list of possible schools will appear that enable you to select your school).
  4. Select your school from the list.
  5. Check the box to Remember my School (optional). This setting saves your school on the current machine or device, and browser.
  6. Click Log in.

Note: Users who do not have an email address associated with their account are not able to reset their password using the Forgot Your Password link. However, teachers or System Administrators should be able to reset students' passwords.

SSO Login (Enterprise only)

Single Sign-On, or SSO, allows you to log into Schoology using a password shared by another system, such as Google Apps, Microsoft Office 365, or another system at your school. If you're not sure which password to use to log into Schoology, reach out to your school's Support Contacts/System Administrator.

  1. Go to www.schoology.com.
  2. Click Log In on the top menu.
  3. Click SSO Login at the bottom right corner.
  4. Enter your school name. A green arrow to the right of your school's name will indicate that your school uses SSO for login.
  5. Click Log in.
  6. You will be taken to the appropriate login portal where you can enter your login information.
  7. Once you've successfully entered your information, you will return to Schoology and view the Schoology Home page.

Note: If you login using SSO, do not reset your password using the Forgot Your Password link. Since login credentials for SSO are managed by your school's System Administrators, reach out to your Support Contact for assistance resetting your password.
